Labour's Big Joke

I was thinking what to write on the blog and Prescott turns up again.
Where do I start, let me bring you upto date.

After the revelations of the affair with his secretary. He is now in trouble because he stayed at the ranch of this American billionaire several times and all they discussed was William Wilberforce.
Well it just so happens that this billionaire wants to build a super-casino in the Dome.
Prescott says he didn't discuss this with him, but his old dept the ODPM would have been involved in discussions, but not the man in charge of decisions ( how is that for being'hands on').
Also we are not allowed to mention the other affair this time with an MP(it is a female, before you get to grossed out) in case she sues. No names, but I could be persuaded.
Do I want him to resign .... probably not, he's doing enough damage to labour staying where he is.
Here is Tony's dilemma, Prescott is DPM, but he is also Deputy leader of the labour party, which is an elected position.
So if he is sacked as DPM he can still stay as Deputy Leader.
If he goes as Deputy Leader, there will have to be an election and if you are going to have an election for Deputy you might as well get rid of the Leader at the same time.

The earliest this can be done is at their conference in Sept.
So watch him cling on to then at least.

Oh by the way Prescott's running the country again in August when Tony's away at Cliff's place in Barbados.
